| Vlog - Can I Haz New Pc? (Recording Test) - Oh yes, new PC. :DThu, 08 Jan 2009 16:21:52 -0800 by ACESparkOh yeah. I got a new pc. Huzzah. Does this rid me of my harddrive space issues? Well providing I don't try and do a Lets Play of a game that's LONG and requires huge video files... I should be fine XPAny fuzziness and crap looking sections are purely Movie Maker's fault. I think it's time to switch to a better program.Yes, that last game is included. High settings. Not bad eh? I would've thought it'd be just a little prettier considering how much it takes to run the thing.I decided to work my way up the "Resource Hog" as far as recording tests go. All games are played on the highest setting.I could only test what games I could install in a short space of time.The last few games don't have a voice recording... that was intentional. Yes, the first three "recording tests" were jokes, XPStill good games though, with both Starcraft and CIV 2 taking up a good chunk of my childhood.The green fuzzy bits in the Spore recording was Guncam's fault, not the PC. The other games were recorded with Fraps.Why was Overlord installed? Why not, I wanted to see the game how its supposed to be seen, my old pc could barely manage it on low.Also L4D fairly pretty on high too.Crisis seems fun from what i've played, the suit powers make the game different enough... does it fair well over the entire thing? I might try and get it cheap. Maybe. Seems glitchy in places though.So yeah, new PC guys! Yay. I can play games from the current generation now, XD (And play games from the last generation on High.)My friend will be bringing round copies of Supreme Commander and UT3, he's determined to fine a game this PC won't run on high.PC Specs:Intel Core 2 Quad CPUQ6600 @ 2.40GHz3.01 GHz, 3.25 GB of RamNVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+Using XP (Vista is evil), and I currently have 465gb of harddrive space. I will be getting a extra 1TB later down the line.
