He earned his livelihood by tilling land and farming.One day, Baba Karam Singh ji was tilling his land and farming as he did every day, and grazing the cattle. Mata Bholi Kaur Ji came to the fields to bring Baba Karam Singh Ji their food (Parshaada Panni). However, unlike other days, today Baba Karam Singh Jis eye caought sight of an unknown saint (sadhu) near his field, as he walked past. Baba Karam Singh Ji approached the holy saint, and humbly asked that they eat parshaada Panni, and the saint agreed to this offer. Having sat and ate the food that Mata Bholi Kaur Ji had brought, the saint asked Do you have a son?.Baba Karam Singh Ji answered in humbleness We have a four year old daughter.you are bakhshanhaar.On hearing this, the saint handed over a white bottle full of Attar to Baba Karam Singh Ji and said look after this bottle of nectar, and within a year you will be blessed with a son, and that their prayers for a son had been accepted by the lord and a Divine child would be born to them.
