| Smokin' [Rock Band 2] 100% Expert VocalsThu, 08 Jan 2009 11:41:51 -0800 by IcemageJTThis is another of my video entries into the ScoreHero How Good Can You Sound Video Challenge, found here:http://rockband .scorehero.com/forum /viewtopic.php?t=112 05100% Gold Star Expert Vocals performance on Smokin' by Boston as it appears in Rock Band 2 for PlayStation 3.As per the rules of the challenge, the original vocals by Brad Delp are muted, and my microphone is turned up so the only vocals you hear are my own.Smokin' is one of the hardest songs to score 100% on in Rock Band. Definitely in the top 5 most difficult songs in the game, due to all the crazy improvisation by Brad Delp.I've been chipping away at this song for months, slowly learning all the weird pitch jumps and warbles, and this video is actually my first ever FC of the song. This was even more difficult since I don't have anything near resembling Delp's extreme tenor, so I had to transpose the whole song down 1 octave to even reach parts of it in falsetto.Side note: The background venue - Empire State Garden - in this video has shown up randomly in a couple of my recent videos and I thought it was a perfect fit for this song, what with all the flames.
