| PortraitsThu, 08 Jan 2009 12:21:05 -0800 by MonkeyMotordrome16mm portrait photography by an unknown cinematographer circa 1940. The subjects are members of the extended Taylor family from Ohio (possibly Akron). The soundtrack, a song titled "Until Tomorrow," is a duet performed by Bernard and Lucy Vessey. It was recorded in Colorado in 1953. Although this track is an amateur Home Recording, Bernard Vessey did record a commercially-produce d 78rpm with Victor Orthophonic in 1925. Enjoy! | The Perils Of Gwendoline (Yanni borrower potion of music from here)Thu, 08 Jan 2009 09:39:29 -0800 by AouretVolkenVisageBy pure accident, I revived some back to 80's movie memories while in mercy of winter holidays. Go to the rain scene, or to be exact scene : 00:41:31aI hate to use word "stole" but this is so brutally evident! The very exact "tremolo" piano, the very exact harmony and arrangements to match. The first 45 seconds, almost exact piece of music!Yanni's track is called "Keys to Imagination" (Keys to Imagination Album) release date of this album = 1986Release date of this movie/score : 1984Please listen for yourself and compare Yanni's track with Pierre Bachelet and Bernard Levitte's music score from this scene = identical first 45 seconds !Sometimes these things can result as pure accidence. But that means having the very exact idea, hm? Related: the perils of gwendoline (yanni borrower potion of music from here) |

| MNTV 2008 | Finding FlightThu, 08 Jan 2009 08:11:38 -0800 by tptwebDuring the Great Depression, Bernard Pietenpol, with only an eighth-grade education, designed a “common-man&rs quo;s airplane” built with scavenged and hardware store parts. Today his son and grandson carry on his legacy, and his airplane’s simple design enjoys a popular following among people of all ages who share his dream of flight.
