You have to be registered.
Police and security are at the gates.
It is noisy inside. There are smokers galore, free popcorn, and foreigners from all over the world buying US cars for import/export.
A 2001 Jeep Wagoneer II (?) was sold for $900 with about 101,000 miles on it. The same vehicle on a car lot would go for between 4 and $5000!
I drove a 2001 Saab 93 with a turbo 2 and 1/2 hours, and wow, it flies. I drove out a 2006, or so, Ram 2500 3/4 ton Dodge 4x4 pickup and when I pulled out the plow almost fell out of the back of the truck. I slammed on the breaks and it came back in, and it took a real big guy and myself to right it. I then tied it down.

These auctions are probably reminiscent of the old livestock auctions run through fences and barns. The auctioneer craft is an art. I didn't understand most of what went on. It is a complete zoo and I recommend earplugs and aspirin.

We're looking to produce a documentary on how the insurance industry handles personal injury and lost wages claims. Are they timely? Are they fair? Do they use ethical business practices?
We would like to present a package of our finding to the US Senate and Congress to suggest legislation, so the insurance industry can better serve the public.
The current procedures and policies just don't seem to cut it. It shouldn't be necessary to get a lawyer just to be partially compensated on a legitimate claim.
