Lost Dog in Weaverville North Carolina, maybe in Asheville?

This family out of Weaverville North Carolina has been missing their dog Kuma since Thanksgiving. The dog was last seen at the end of Eller Cove Road off of Reems Creek. The family in Weaverville is offering a reward for Kumas safe return, and any info would be greatly appreciated. I am talking to the owner right now and she is saying that there has been hundreds of call from "well wishers" and just people from the Asheville and Weaverville community calling and letting them know that they are actively looking for the dog daily.

Granny's Kitchen has been around for years, run by Grandma & Grandpa, then taken over by Cecelia and Fliper. Met plenty of great people at this little "hole in the wall", including a great mechanic and some subcontractors, etc, had plenty of business meetings here. Just some down to earth people that run a nice little business. This is the only breakfast "semi fast food" at this exit except for some small options at the Citgo across the street.

We to eat at the Asheville Bier Garden for brunch today. I guess I started looking online for a place to eat, and thought of the Bier Garden as the perfect place since I had about 10 people with me. http://biergarden.ho mestead.com. It had several arcade rooms, giant television, many more tv's, massive beer selection (guess that is why it is called "The Bier Garden"), pool tables, air hockey, basketball, video games, and a nice menu of many great food options. I ordered the Monte Cristo and it was so good! Other food ordered was a Cuban sandwich, Buffalo Slide burgers, Angus Burgers, Jerk Chicken Jamaican sandwich. Our waitress was very good, and a waiter named John assisted us as well on 2 occasions. Spoke to the owner John, and he was running around as usual. Souper Sandwich is also in the Haywood Park Hotel Building and it serves great breakfast and lunch items. Great food options right across the street from Malaprops in Downtown Asheville.

Okay, we had a really awesome lunch here today. Several of the other downtown restaurants had a one hour wait today, so we finally came to 1896 and it was not too packed at all, great food, great service (by Stephanie, and Sarah on the side, thanks... you are awesome!) Paul Taylor Sandals are based in Asheville and found on a few select people around the World (who are lucky enough to hear Pauls story and see his work). Stopped in today to get a new belt for a Versace buckle I had on the shelf, and was completely amazed by their used buckle selection, some as low as $19. Great place, great people, top quality! Sisters McMullen in Asheville North Carolina has been around for years. They started with the simple donut approach, grew into great pastries and baked goods, and have now even quit the "donut making" in the past few months (of which we did not approve of, and will not, lol). But all of their bakery items are great, and I love those Black & White cookies! They also have a North Asheville spot in Woodfin on Reynolds Mountain which I personally frequent more often, and love their breakfast options. They are really good.

If you are anywhere between the ages of 8 and college age, this little shop downtown has a bunch of cool gear, boards, hats, sneakers, and more. It is located just one block down from the Pack Monument. Nice hats run about $27, clothing between $30 and $80 plus. Nice alternative styles, especially for teens.

Came out of Bistro 1896 and these Asheville musicians were really into their debut song. My 8 year old son wanted to film, so this was his first video. Now, he wants to be a "Blogger" like daddy. Tears rolled down my face as... just kidding, lol. He took the vid, did good, and it was fun.

Angelo, who is one of the owners, cares for this restaurant like a mom cares for her baby. I watch them at work and they are awesome. In Asheville, we usually just video or photograph the crazy chicken dancing outside all of the time, but tonight we stopped in to grab a bite. The food was great, and the selection of home cooking was so overwhelming. We went in there expecting something small, but they had everything you could think of, desserts, etc, and the "Mom" was the salesperson trying to sell us pies, and almost got us to schedule a "comeback date" to visit and eat again.
